Last month, my favorite store, Amazon, celebrated their 20th Anniversary of their initial stock offering. According to one report I read, if you invested $100 at the time of their initial offering, today your stock would be valued at close to $64,000! That's quite the rate of return!
Compare that to another online retailer that started about the same time, Pets.com. When their stock went on sale, it went for $14 per share. Just nine months later, it went for less than a quarter per share! Talk about investing in the wrong things.
We get to invest the resources that God has entrusted to us every day. How we invest, and what we invest in, will speak volumes about what our priorities are. I hope you'll listen as we continue our look at "Kingdom Orientation" and find out why God calls everyone who is a believer to live in "A Shrewd Kingdom".
